Leah Haake 


Leah Haake is the National Programs Manager at Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR). Leah manages the local and national platform, ASK and UASK (Assault. Services. Knowledge.), a website and downloadable app that combines life-saving and pertinent sexual violence resources for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence, as well as their friends, family members, and colleagues.

The ASK platform is available in Arizona, Connecticut and North Dakota and Washington, DC; while UASK is available at all eight universities in Washington, DC, and Duke University. Leah has worked on the planning, development, population of content, editing, monitoring, evaluation and outreach of the ASK and UASK platform.

Leah assists MCSR's Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) department with the HHS - OWH Campus Sexual Assault Policy and Prevention Initiative, to provide technical assistance to campuses in the DMV region.

Leah has co-organized the annual You Are Not Alone Conference with the DC Mayor’s Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG). This conference is designed for colleges, universities and service providers in DC to come together, learn about sexual assault resources and share best practices, such as implementation of comprehensive and multidisciplinary approaches.

In 2014, Leah began an internship in the TTA department at MCSR. While an undergraduate, she served as a Leadership Council member, and taught the Abusive Relationships workshop for the American University chapter of Peer Health Exchange. Leah graduated from American University in 2014 with a BA in International Studies and a minor in Public Health.
