MCSR Partners with The Hip Hop Caucus

Men Can Stop Rape is proud to announce our new partnership with The Hip Hop Caucus. The Hip Hop Caucus organizes young people to be active in elections, policymaking, and service projects. They harness the platform of their celebrity, media, and entertainment partners in order to mobilize, engage, and educate young people about social issues that directly impact their lives and communities. MCSR will be partnering with the Hip Hop Caucus on the Respect My Vote! Campaign. Respect My Vote! focuses on educating, registering, and mobilizing young people of color between the ages of 18-39 who live in urban and rural communities, do not attend college, or attend Historically Black Universities and Community Colleges. You can watch a video from Respect My Vote! 2010 above. The Campaign for the 2012 election cycle was launched on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 8 PM EST with a webinar hosted by the National Black Law Students Association. Check out the webinar!
