IMG_0341From Maine to Hawaii and all states in between, Men Can Stop Rape has conducted workshops for more than 50,000 youth, college students, adults, youth‐serving professionals, direct service agencies and many others, in the US and abroad.

Our workshops:

  • Are a platform for reaching larger groups of people at your organization, agency, or school
  • Can be used to gauge interest or introduce your audience to the work of Men Can Stop Rape when you are considering a more in-depth training
  • Are a great introduction to men's role in the prevention of violence against women and it's connections to masculinity if your audience is new to these ideas
  • Can serve as an awareness-raising tool or call to action

We tailor our presentations and workshops to the needs of different audiences ranging from small group learning environments to large presentations. Topics include:

  • Stopping Rape Before It Starts: Men’s Role in Rape Prevention

Dismantling Porn's Negative Impacts on Men and Boys

Joe_TTAMen are often portrayed as mindless consumers of porn, always ready to check out a naked woman (or 50) from the privacy of their own computer. But is reality that simple? This workshop will ask participants to think critically about the role pornography plays in their lives, relationships, communities and society and how it may affect men and women differently. The audience will also be challenged to see how pornography connects to violence against women and healthy and unhealthy understandings of masculinity, and ask whether the role of porn in society serves men as much as we often think it does.
