Stopping Rape Before It Starts: Men's Role in Rape Prevention

By engaging men in the prevention of violence against women we open the door to countless new allies in the struggle, and find new ways that men can contribute to ending this epidemic. One of the best ways men can stop rape is to examine what it means to be a man in today's society, find ways to hold men accountable to ourselves and each other, and to see women and girls as allies in creating a nonviolent world. This training shows participants how they can effectively use masculinity to engage men in ending violence against women, and explores how bystander intervention can be used to help end that violence on campus, in communities, and around the world.
