Men of Strength Club member Kris Stith gave a five-minute presentation about MCSR's MOST Club program to a DC Council youth hearing this past November.

Watch Kris, a high school senior and fine arts student at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, talk about the impact MOST Club has had on high school males in the Washington, DC area.

MOST TV PREMIERES ON DCTV THIS WEEKEND – CHECK IT OUT!

 

“What is a being a ‘real’ man all about?” These are one of many questions asked in MOST TV, a new television series for young men that premiered last Saturday 9/6 at 10:00 pm on DCTV.

 

Created and led by members of Men Can Stop Rape’s Men of Strength (MOST) Club, this monthly series examines masculinity through the lens of teenagers 13-18, who discuss successes and failures in proving their manhood. Hoping to offer young men a positive and solution-oriented outlet, each episode will also discuss masculinity's connection to popular culture, feature interviews from local celebrities, and a call-in segment for viewers.


Episode Airings:


This episode will air seven times on DCTV (channel 95 on Comcast and channel 10 on RCN) throughout the month of September.


Sat 9/6 at 10:00 pm

Sun 9/7 at 5:30 pm

Thu 9/11 at 8:00 pm

Mon 9/15 at 9:00 pm

Tues 9/16 at 1:30 pm

Thu 9/18 at 10:00 pm

Thu 9/25 at 8:00 pm

MOST CLUB MOVES TO OHIO!

The Ohio expansion of the Men of Strength (MOST) Club is now underway! Men Can Stop Rape recently traveled to Ohio in late July to hold a two-day faciliator training for six new clubs starting in the fall. 

MOST Club will be serving male high school youth in East Knox, East Toledo Family Center, Heath High SHS, Northmor SHS, Mount Vernon SHS, and Youngstown B&G Club.


Organizations sponsoring this expansion include the New Direction Domestic Abuse Shelter, Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Helpline of Delaware & Morrow Counties, Family & Child Abuse Prevention Center, Mental Health America of Licking County, and the Ohio Domestic Violence Network.
