MCSR BOARD MEMBER INTERVIEWED BY THE GAZETTE
 Men Can Stop Rape board member and medical sociologist, Dr. Robert M. Brown, III, is featured in the Frederick County edition and Aug. 2nd issue of The Gazette, for his local work with young men in preventing violence against women.
‘‘I have a deep interest and commitment to helping young men realize what it really means to be a man,” Brown said. ‘‘There are so many negative images and images out there today that are not positive. We talk about helping and not hurting.”
This month, Dr. Brown is featured alongside national celebrities such as Grammy-nominated musician Brian McKnight and Emmy-winner actor Shemar Moore as one of Essence magazine’s “Do Right Men” for his primary violence prevention work in the local Washington, DC area.
