Training and Technical Assistance Consultant
Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR), a DC-based nonprofit that empowers male youth and the institutions that serve them, to prevent rape and other forms of men's violence, is seeking a Training Consultant for 40 hours per week. Under the guidance of MCSR's Director of Training and Technical Assistance, the Training Consultant will contribute to the sustainability and growth of Men Can Stop Rape’s trainings, workshops, presentations, and campus and community programming.

Job responsibilities include:
• Work with the Director of Training and Technical Assistance on tasks essential to departmental function, including development, marketing, scheduling, facilitation, evaluation and other aspects of MCSR trainings
• Conduct trainings for colleges and universities, partner organizations, and clients, including the US military, state DV and SA coalitions and agencies, government agencies and others
• Contribute to development and improvement of new and existing training modules
• Co-conduct Healthy Masculinity Institute Trainings across the country
• Work with the Director of Training and Technical Assistance to seek out, develop and nurture relationships with individuals at member institutions and new clients
• Contribute to development of new training promotional materials
• Support the Deputy Director on billing of training services

Job qualifications include:
• At least two years of experience in training youth and professionals.
• Strong professional boundaries.
• Ability to listen and be empathetic.
• Strong organizing skills.
• Understanding of gender-based violence and social justice issues preferred.
